Merlin
Directed by Steve Barron, Merlin is a 3 part miniseries made for television, but it is now sold as a DVD movie with all the parts shown seamlessly together. It was nominated for no less than 15 Emmys, and won 4.
The movie retells the legend of King Arthur from the perspective of the wizard Merlin and the magical powers of the Old Ways. It is also a personal story of Merlin's own life.
